Overview

The HIT Slider is a 4G LTE phone featuring a sliding physical QWERTY keyboard — including Hebrew characters — making it a popular choice in communities that value both physical typing and controlled access. The device is designed without open internet access and is approved by major filtering organizations, making it well suited for environments requiring focused, distraction-free communication.

The HIT Slider runs Android and supports voice calls, text messaging, and optionally email and maps. It includes a 5 MP camera, Bluetooth, dual SIM and microSD card support, and a backlit full QWERTY slide-out keyboard. Yoder Connections sells this phone in two lockdown configurations.

Carrier Note: The HIT Slider is not officially certified by Verizon or AT&T. It has been confirmed working on Selectel, H2O, Boom, and T-Mobile. T-Mobile provides the broadest LTE coverage; however, Band 71 (T-Mobile rural extended coverage) is not supported.

Lockdown Options

The HIT Slider is sold in two configurations that define which features are accessible. Unlike other phones that use Yoder Connections’ Secure Lockdown software, the HIT Slider’s lockdown is built into the device firmware:

Network & Compatibility

The HIT Slider operates on 4G LTE networks. Note that Band 71 is not supported, which limits T-Mobile’s rural extended coverage on this device. For customers in rural areas relying on T-Mobile, this should be considered before purchasing.
