Overview

The TCL Flip Pro (model 4056) is a 4G LTE clamshell flip phone running KaiOS 3.0. It is available in two variants with different carrier compatibility and feature configurations. Yoder Connections offers both variants: a Verizon-compatible version with Secure Lockdown (no browser), and a carrier-unlocked version without lockdown (browser included).

The phone features a compact design with physical keypad, wide LTE band coverage for multi-carrier compatibility, and the reliability of a purpose-built flip phone platform.

Two variants: The 4056v is optimized for Verizon and ships with the browser removed (Secure Lockdown configuration). The 4056S is carrier unlocked and ships with the browser enabled (No Lockdown). See the Variant & Lockdown Options section below.

Variant & Lockdown Options

The TCL Flip Pro is available in two distinct variants through Yoder Connections. Each variant has a different carrier focus and feature configuration:

About Secure Lockdown: The 4056v “No Browser” version shipped by Yoder Connections has the web browser removed as part of a Secure Lockdown configuration. This restricts internet access while keeping calling, texting, and other basic features available. Yoder Connections configures these phones before shipping to help organizations manage device usage and limit distractions.

The 4056v Secure Lockdown configuration provides:

Network & Compatibility

The TCL Flip Pro supports an extensive range of 4G LTE bands, providing compatibility across major US carriers and international networks. Both variants work on Verizon and T-Mobile. AT&T compatibility depends on the variant: the 4056S (carrier unlocked, with browser) is fully compatible with AT&T, while the 4056v (No Browser/Secure Lockdown) has limited AT&T compatibility and may not activate or function correctly on that network.
