Overview
The Grandstream WP826 and WP836 are enterprise-grade WiFi 6 cordless VoIP handsets โ designed for professionals who need full phone functionality while moving around the office, warehouse, or facility. Unlike traditional desk phones, these handsets connect to your existing WiFi network and register directly with a SIP PBX, with no DECT base station required.
- The WP826 is a slim, professional handset for standard business environments โ 3 SIP accounts, 12-hour talk time, and WiFi 6 in a compact form.
- The WP836 adds full rugged protection (IP69K rated) and drop resistance from 2 meters โ built for warehouses, food service, healthcare, and any demanding environment.

Contact Import: Contacts can be bulk-uploaded from a VCF or XML file. Tech charges apply โ contact us to arrange.
Setup Overview
1. Charge the handset โ Insert the battery and charge via USB-C before first use.
2. Connect to WiFi โ Power on the handset and navigate to Settings โ WiFi Settings. Select your network and enter the credentials.
3. Register a SIP account โ Go to Settings โ Account. Enter your SIP server address, username, and password.
4. Verify registration โ A registered account shows a green icon on the home screen. You can now make and receive calls.
5. Bulk deployment โ Use GDMS or a provisioning server (TR-069/TFTP) for zero-touch deployment across multiple handsets.
No base station required: Unlike DECT cordless systems, WP-series handsets connect directly to your WiFi network and register with your SIP PBX. They work alongside existing desk phones on the same system.
