Grandstream HT801 & HT802
Analog Telephone Adapters (ATAs)
YC Product Documentation
Overview
The Grandstream HT801 and HT802 are compact analog telephone adapters (ATAs) that connect standard analog phones, fax machines, and other POTS devices to a VoIP/SIP network. They are ideal for homes and small offices migrating from traditional landline service to cloud-based or on-premise IP phone systems.
- The HT801 provides one FXS port β connecting a single analog phone or fax machine.
- The HT802 provides two FXS ports β supporting two independent lines on one device.
Both models support HD voice, T.38 fax relay, TLS/SRTP encryption, and zero-config provisioning with Grandstream's UCM IP PBX platform.
Not recommended for fax. While the HT801 and HT802 support T.38 fax relay, Yoder Connections does not recommend these devices for fax use. For reliable fax over IP, we recommend the AudioCodes MP-202B, which uses HTTPS Fax β a more robust protocol that is resistant to packet loss and firewall issues.
