Overview
The Motorola O2 Series is a DECT 6.0 cordless phone built for use both indoors and outdoors. Its IP67 certification means it is fully dustproof and can be submerged in up to 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes — making it well-suited for outdoor spaces, barns, garages, and other environments where a standard phone would not hold up.
Availability Notice: The O2 Series is an older model. Availability is limited and we may not be able to reorder once our stock is depleted. Parts and accessories — including batteries — are no longer available for this model. If you need long-term serviceability, consider a current-model cordless phone.
IP67 Weatherproofing
The IP67 rating means the O2 handset is:
- Fully dustproof — no dust ingress under any conditions
- Water-submersible — can be submerged in up to 3 feet (1 meter) of water for up to 30 minutes
- Weatherproof — suitable for outdoor installation and use in rain or wet environments
The handset can be mounted outdoors or used in areas exposed to the elements. The base station should be kept indoors in a dry location.
